Connect a POS integration
BevWerk does not have a standalone “Integrations” page. The connection points live one level deeper, inside company setup, because a POS integration is really a property of a location, not the app as a whole.
Where this lives
Section titled “Where this lives”Go to Settings → Company Info. Two things matter on this page:
- A POS row in a separate Integrations panel, below Basic Info, shows whether Clover and Square are available to this company at all.
- The Locations table lists every location, and each row has a kebab (⋮) menu with the actual connect actions — Integrate Clover and Integrate Square — when that location isn’t connected yet.
What gates the connect actions
Section titled “What gates the connect actions”The Integrate Clover and Integrate Square actions in a location’s kebab menu only appear once POS is enabled for the company. That’s a plan-level entitlement: the POS toggles in the Integrations panel are disabled until the company is on an active/pro subscription. So if you don’t see “Integrate Clover” or “Integrate Square” on a location, check your subscription status first — that’s usually why.
Once POS is enabled, a connected location shows the relevant POS icon (with a tooltip naming the integration) in the table’s Integrations column, and the kebab menu switches from “Integrate” to “Remove” for that POS. For Square, a connected location also offers Edit Square settings, which opens that location’s Square location, category and tax choices so you can change them without removing the integration.
When you integrate a location with Square, the Square location list shows each location’s address and Square ID under its name, so locations with similar names can be told apart. If the location already has Square sales in BevWerk, the Square location those orders came from is preselected and marked.
Reconnect Square
Section titled “Reconnect Square”All of a company’s locations share one Square sign-in. If Square’s authorization expires or is revoked, BevWerk cannot sync taps, orders or inventory until a manager reconnects. While that is the case, a location’s overflow menu offers Reconnect Square in place of Integrate Square or Edit Square settings, and the location may show a Reconnect Square badge in the Locations table.
Reconnecting from a location renews the shared sign-in, then returns you to that location’s Square settings only. If the location kept its saved settings, they are filled in; if not, the Square location its orders came from is preselected. Review the selections and save. Other locations keep their settings and start syncing again once the sign-in is renewed.
Watch the walkthrough
Section titled “Watch the walkthrough”The walkthrough stops at the kebab menu — actually connecting Clover or Square hands off to that provider’s own sign-in page, which isn’t part of this app.
