Export your company data

Export Company Data, available from the Company section of the user menu, downloads a JSON file of your company’s setup and catalog.

Your company details and branding, locations, POS integrations, and your catalog: Distributors, Producers, Products, Styles, Glassware, Menu Categories, and your user list.

This is not a full backup, and it is important not to treat it as one. It does not contain:

  • individual inventory items — the specific kegs and cases you have received
  • orders or sales history
  • keg tracking, deposits, or distribution records
  • activity history

If you need a record of stock movement, the Distribution tabs offer targeted CSV exports covering keg returns and deposits.

The export includes your user list with names, email addresses, and dates of birth. Treat the file the way you would treat any staff record: store it somewhere you control, and do not forward it casually. If you are sharing data with an accountant or analyst, check whether they actually need the user list before handing over the whole file.

Exporting company data is limited to managers. The export covers the whole company rather than a single location, so it deliberately sits behind the same permission as other company-wide actions.

If the option is not available to you and you expect it to be, the likely cause is your role rather than a fault — see Manage users.
