How billing and plan changes work
BevWerk bills your company, not each person who signs in. Adding a colleague does not change what you pay; adding a room does.
What the price is built from
Section titled “What the price is built from”A subscription has two parts: a base charge for the company, and an additional charge for each location beyond the first.
That shape follows how the product is used. Every location brings its own taps, taplists, menus, and sales data — real capacity — while extra users are just more people looking at the same rooms. It also means the cost of trying BevWerk in one taproom is not affected by how large your team is.
Current prices are shown on the Subscription page in the app rather than repeated here, so you are always reading the live figure rather than one that was true when this page was written.
Where to see your status
Section titled “Where to see your status”Subscription lives under the Company section of the user menu, and it shows your plan and billing status. See Understand your subscription for what each state means.
Viewing subscription details is manager-only, so if you cannot find it, check your role — see Roles and what each one can do.
Changing a plan
Section titled “Changing a plan”Plan changes are made in the app and take effect against your existing subscription rather than creating a second one. If a change appears not to have applied, refresh the Subscription page before trying again — repeating a change that already succeeded is the main way people end up confused about what they are paying for.
Adding a location
Section titled “Adding a location”Adding a location to a plan that does not cover it will affect billing. This is worth knowing before you create a location “just to try something”, because the new room is a billable unit from the moment it exists, not from the moment you start using it seriously.
What a lapsed subscription affects
Section titled “What a lapsed subscription affects”Some capabilities depend on an active subscription — POS integrations in particular are gated on it. If Integrate Clover or Integrate Square is missing from a location’s menu, check your subscription status before assuming the integration is broken. See Connect a POS integration.
Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”Cancellation is handled through the subscription controls in the app. Before you cancel, consider exporting your company data so you keep a copy of your records independently of your account status.
What to do next
