Read a keg history
Most BevWerk screens answer questions about many beverages at once. Keg History answers everything about one.
Getting there
Section titled “Getting there”Open a keg from wherever you already have it in front of you — an On Tap card, a keg tracking row, or the dashboard On Tap widget. Each opens the detail view for that specific keg.
The three states
Section titled “The three states”A keg moves through three states, and the history records when each transition happened:
- In Stock — received and available, not yet committed to a tap.
- Up Next — queued as the next beverage for a tap.
- On Tap — pouring.
Seeing them as a sequence with timestamps is what makes the page useful. “How long did that sit before we tapped it?” and “how fast did it go once it was on?” are both answered by the same trail.
Use it when a number looks wrong
Section titled “Use it when a number looks wrong”This is the page to open when a keg blew earlier than expected or a report looks off. Aggregate views tell you that something does not add up; the history tells you when it stopped adding up, and usually that is enough to recognise what happened.
A keg that emptied fast is a busy night. A keg whose state changes do not line up with how much beer it should have poured is a different conversation.
What to do next
Section titled “What to do next”- Correct a keg that is pouring in
Run the On Tap workspace. - Follow the vessel after it empties in
Track kegs through distribution.
