Set company branding and tax defaults

Company Info holds the settings that everything else inherits. Two groups of them shape what guests actually see: your brand, and your tax maths.

Your company carries a Primary Color, Secondary Color, and Tertiary Color, along with a company logo.

These are not decoration. The menu design toolbar’s Brand palette draws directly on them, so setting them once is what makes a Digital Menu or Paper Menu look like your taproom instead of a default template. See Design a menu with the toolbar.

A location can override these if a second room has its own identity — see Manage locations and the active location.

  • Sales Tax — the rate applied to prices.
  • Round To Nearest — how the taxed figure is rounded before it reaches a menu.

Rounding earns its place here. A calculated price of $7.83 is arithmetically correct and useless on a menu board; rounding turns it into a number a guest can hand you cash for. Setting it at the company level means every menu rounds the same way instead of each one being tidied by hand.

Draft, Packaging, and Glass Pours markups sit alongside a Calculation Type that decides whether you think in margin or markup. These drive the price suggestions you get when adding inventory — covered in full in Set your markup strategy.

Company Name, Address, City, State, Phone, Email, and Website, plus your Social handles. These appear where BevWerk presents your business publicly, including menus that carry location details and pages on a BevWerk-hosted site.

Keep them current for a plainer reason than completeness: they are what a guest uses to find you, and a stale phone number on a printed menu outlives the print run.

Company settings are inherited, not duplicated

Everything here is the default for every location. A room only departs from it when you deliberately turn on an override. That inheritance is why setting these properly once is worth more than fixing them repeatedly per location.
