The BevWerk Assistant
The BevWerk Assistant answers questions about using BevWerk and can help you look up some information for your active location. It is available to employees and managers only when it is enabled for their company, so it may not appear in every account.
What it can answer
Section titled “What it can answer”Ask how to use a feature or where to find something. The Assistant answers app-use questions from BevWerk’s help pages. Its answers include the help pages it used when those sources apply. If the documentation does not cover your question, it should say so rather than fill the gap with a general answer.
When those lookups are available, the Assistant can also:
- list taps and find kegs at your active location
- check whether a Square or Clover connection needs a manager to reconnect it
- summarize the top ten Styles at your active location by sales revenue or ounces
- when sales data lookups are available for your company, answer questions about Styles and sub-styles, including total sales, ounces sold, and comparisons between two date ranges
Sales data lookups are in a limited pilot and are coming soon to other companies. When enabled for your company, you can ask about explicit date ranges up to 366 days. The Assistant uses your active location’s sales data and reports the measure it ranked by.
Operational lookups use your company and active location. Check important details in BevWerk, especially if the Assistant says a list may be incomplete.
Proposed actions
Section titled “Proposed actions”When action proposals are available, the Assistant can prepare a card to put a keg on an empty tap, queue a keg as Up Next, move an Up Next keg onto its tap, clear a tap, or reduce the volume recorded for a keg.
An action card does not change your records. Select Open to review the existing On Tap dialog, then submit the change there if it is correct. Closing the dialog leaves your records unchanged.
What the Assistant cannot do
Section titled “What the Assistant cannot do”The Assistant cannot answer an app-use question that is not covered by its help pages and available information. It cannot change taps, kegs, or other records on its own. Any action it proposes still needs your review and submission in BevWerk.
What to do next
Section titled “What to do next”- Ask an operational question in the Assistant, then check its source pages or data in BevWerk.
