Sales or reports are missing data
Sales data comes from your POS rather than from BevWerk, so a gap is usually about the connection between the two.
Reports is not in the navigation
Section titled “Reports is not in the navigation”Reports only appears once the active location has a Clover or Square integration connected. Without one there is no nav entry at all — this is expected, not a fault.
You can still open /reports/sales directly, where BevWerk shows “Sales reports require a Clover or Square integration on the active location.”
Reports is there but empty
Section titled “Reports is there but empty”Work through these:
- Check the active location. Reports are per location, and a quiet second room legitimately has nothing to show.
- Check the date range. An empty period is an empty report.
- Confirm sales have actually synced. Order data flows in automatically, but a recent sale may not have landed yet.
Recent sales have not appeared
Section titled “Recent sales have not appeared”Give it a few minutes first — order sync is automatic but not instantaneous.
If sales are still missing after that, the likely cause is the integration rather than the report. A POS token can expire, which fails quietly from the outside: the connection looks present but no longer works. Reconnecting the integration is the fix. See Connect a POS integration.
Some products show but others do not
Section titled “Some products show but others do not”Sales arrive tied to POS items. A beverage rung up under a POS item that does not correspond to anything in BevWerk will appear in your POS totals but not attribute to a product here.
If your POS is missing beers you are pouring, the sync you want pushes taps out to the POS rather than pulling orders in — see Understand POS sync operations.
Dashboard widgets are empty but reports have data
Section titled “Dashboard widgets are empty but reports have data”Several dashboard widgets depend on the same sales data, but a hidden widget shows nothing regardless. Check whether the widget is switched on in Customize your dashboard widgets.
Keg numbers look wrong rather than sales
Section titled “Keg numbers look wrong rather than sales”Depletion is calculated from sales plus any manual adjustments, so a keg that emptied “early” often has an adjustment behind it. Trace it in Read a keg history.
